  Why do we marry?

To quote  Beverly Clark (Susan Sarandon),from Shall We Dance?,

 " We need a witness to our lives. There's a billion people on the planet... I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things... all of it, all of the time, every day. You're saying 'Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness."

The same answer somehow applies to 'Why do we blog?'

Your blog is a witness-to your dreams,your ideas,your thoughts,your opinions,your choices. It's a witness-to you!

I've heard of time capsules,buried by ancient civilizations for future generations to discover. Is there any sense in it? those who have buried it,will never know if it would ever be discovered. 

But perhaps the process of creating a time capsule is in itself so beautiful that the anxiety about its discovery becomes secondary. Those people must be searching for the best in their world to present to the future world. A world totally unknown to them...

Your blog makes you do the same thing-to glance within yourself,explore and bring out the best in you. 

Well,here is my blog... and the only thing I've understood about it in so many days is- it's going to be irregular!  One can't be regular and sincere at the same time.

I don't know how many strangers will stumble across this page. But my blog awaits you... and with every visit it grins-it's been a witness to me for so many days, and now someone has noticed it......Thank you!
